Britney Spears
Depending on when you were born and grew up, you’ll remember Britney Spears for a different album. (And we’re not going to say too much about that ourselves!) Her likeness has been licensed for everything inbetween – colognes and clothes lines included. In 2015, she got her own Britney Spears-branded slot machine. You can find a whole discussion about it on Trip Advisor’s Vegas Forum.
Paris Hilton
Paris and Britney were close at one point – and it almost seemed like they were competing, with Paris racing to license her own likeness to just as much merchandise, and she even recorded and album or two herself. So, it’s only natural that Paris Hilton-branded slots should be a thing – we have no clue whether it comes with or without her Chihuahuas, though.
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here
“I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here” is basically a celebrity version of Survivor: They get thrown onto an exotic, isolated location with only a few items and are put against each other in challenges for the top spot. Bizarre concept, right? Well, there’s now a slot machine based around the reality show, which you can check out online at places like Real Money Slots and Ask Gamblers.

Hulk Hogan Slot Machine
Younger readers might not even remember who Hulk Hogan is. But, we assure you, he was at one point a real thing in the world of wrestling back when it was in its glory days. The first Hogan-themed slot machine came from MX Casino and began hosted on Facebook; the second – yes, there’s more than one – is called Hulkamania.
The Hangover
We found a cool article discussing celebrity slot machines from Persephone Magazine (2013), and the author mentioned having spotted many new celebrity-themed slots including The Hangover. These TV and movie-themed slots not only throw out a jackpot when you win something, according to the author, but also plays a clip from the show or movie. Cool!
Dolly Parton
Okay, we also found this one from Persephone Magazine (2013) and thought we had to include it. Apparently this one throws unique Dolly Parton catchphrases while you play instead. Only for fans, then!
Ellen DeGeneres
Popular TV personality Ellen DeGeneres is next on the list with her own brand of slot machines in Vegas; and, staying really cool about it, she made a surprise appearance to play a couple of rounds with, well, a slot machine that happens to have her face on it. You can see the video pasted below 🙂
Arnold Schwartzenegger
The Terminator (and, well, ex-Governor) had his likeness on slot machines for a while, except the difference is that he wasn’t happy about the fact – at all. Back in 2001, he apparently sued a company manufacturing slot machines with his face on them for $10 million for doing so without his permission. You can read the original article from the LA Times here. Oh, and in 2003, it happened again when he was removed from a Terminator-themed slot machine made by Game Technology Inc., according to an article in Las Vegas Sun. Whoops.
The Happy Days Slot Machine
According to an article in The Business Insider, a slot machine themed around the Happy Days TV show went off just as badly when the cast sued the slot machine’s manufacturers for unlicensed usage of their likeness. If you’ve forgotten, Happy Days ran until 1984 – which makes the lawsuit surprisingly recent!
Nightmare on Elm Street
Yup, we’re counting Freddy Krueger as a celebrity. Portrayed by Robert Englund in the original Nightmare on Elm Street series, Freddy became somewhat of a cultural icon – and was responsible for a lot of bad dreams and likely coffee sales. This one’s hosted on 888, and you can watch a review of it on YouTube uploaded by MoneySlots.

So how does the Hulkamania slot fare? Well, “lemme tell ya, Mean Gene,” as the Hulkster himself might have begun in his WWE days, it’s not bad but excitement is low until the bonus features kick in.
In regular gameplay, symbols include signs of wealth (though isn’t Hogan himself running into financial problems; thought we’d heard that on TMZ or somewhere), Hogan himself in various showy poses and the letters H-U-L-K.
The “Golden Wild” – it’s a standard substituting-wild symbol really, just gold in color – landing in the center reel triggers the like-named feature. Actually this is not so much a feature, but a one-time shot at having four game symbols replaced with wilds for a big payout on an otherwise losing spin.
The scatter symbol is a championship bet, of which Hogan wore with the WWF/WWE for four years. With three of these, the “Big Fight Bonus” round is launched. In this round, Hulk returns to the ring; the player chooses moves for him to execute for the pin and prizes.

Finally, the arm-wrestling icon can also trigger a special round, namely the “Arm Wrestling Bonus” when three of these bad boys land. This one’s a pick ‘em round leading to 15 free spins.
