Beautifully presented with tender green beans and crisp potatoes on the side, this is a delightfully fresh dish and it pairs perfectly with a crisp glass of white wine. The meal was rounded off with indulgent and most welcome salted caramel popcorn and chocolate brownie sundae. I was also fortunate enough to sample the classic lemon meringue pie with delicately flavoured lime and pistachio cream. A mouth-watering Sunday roast menu is available each week, and is extremely popular with casino-goers and restaurant visitors alike.
The restaurant supports the Food for Thought initiative, so diners can add just 99p to their bill and give towards planting a tree to counterbalance the carbon footprint of dining at the restaurant. The Waterside has been able to support the environment by purchasing many trees thanks to diners’ generosity with this scheme.
